Trim carpentry continues to progress and impress. I like the black hinges and handles Sharon has chosen. Now that the doors are hung, the upstairs is really taking shape.
While there were little items left to do last week at the house, the major hurdle was to measure and order the steel, now that we had everything clear to do so. By the end of the week, the steel was ready and onsite - this seemingly small load of steel will eliminate most of the walls on the first floor!
With most of the big deliveries in the house, we had John from A&J Windows install the front door so we could trim it out properly on the inside. Jampa began floor leveling applications in the basement. We are doing our best working with the existing slab, but it's not easy finding a happy balance of "what is level" sometimes.
