Week 8: Moving Along

Dave and Jess decided they'd like stone on the front... and lickity split, we had the stone stripped and disposed of.  The backframing progressed inside and the stucco is really moving!

Week 7: HVAC Continues, Stucco Starts

The HVAC work continues in the basement  while we have managed to strip the old exterior cladding and get the new stucco system started.  This will be a huge improvement in quality on the outside.

Week 6: HVAC and Plumbing R/I begin

The HVAC and plumbing rough-ins started last week.  For HVAC, we're reconnecting/moving all of the existing systems to work with the current wide open plan.  We'll have to get creative with the duct work and plumbing that has to run under the steel beams now - always an issue with open-concept living.

Week 5: Principal Framing Complete

Principal framing concluded last week.  We are ready for the rough-in phase.

Week 4: Tear down those walls!

Not quite as significant as Ronald Reagan's famous line, but we've installed the steel beams and torn down the interior walls.  Some foundation steps were required to set the beams into the existing walls.  Framing also continued throughout the week.
